ManagementHearing in RIL-RNRL dispute may be deferred to Sept 4
The Supreme Court is likely to defer the gas dispute between Mukesh Ambani group firm RIL and Anil Ambani group company RNRL to September 4, as the chief justice may lead a Constitutional Bench the same day.

The cross-appeals filed by RIL, RNRL and the admissibility of the government’s special leave petition (SLP) on a dispute are scheduled to be heard by a three-judge Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan on September 1.
Sources said there may be a change in the date of hearing due to the fact that the chief justice is leading a Constitutional Bench comprising five judges on September 1.
RNRL is likely to raise the issue before the court tomorrow.
