Commotion broke out today at a conference aimed at promoting peace between India and Pakistan when a section of the audience objected to the presence of JKLF leader Yasin Malik as a speaker.

When the delegates refused to yield, the police intervened and drove them out of the venue.
On asked why the delegates were whisked away, one of the organisers A Chinoy said, "This is an open forum and people have every right to speak but they should behave properly."
The three-day annual conference- A Road Map Towards Peace- was inaugurated yesterday.
Several intellectuals, dignitaries and leaders from both India and Pakistan are attending the meet.
